English term or phrase: I hauled myself over the wall and into his yard...
In this sentence, the narrator is trying to get to his friend's house and in order to do that, he has to go through a neighborhood without being spotted. That's why, he decides to go over the walls until he gets to his friend's back yard. I have a problem with the translation of the ver "haul". Suggestions?

Gracias.
