Social Sciences - Religion / giving thanks traditions
English term or phrase: give-away / blessing
I'm trying to translate a text about native traditions in America, and the author talks about a tribe called Wampanong. It says giving thanks it's very important for the wampanong, and then it appears in the text this sentence:

Give-away ceremonies show gratefulness to the Creator who provides for the people and makes possible the blessings celebrated.

Can anyone helping me to traslate this sentence? Specially, with the meaning of give-away ceremonies and "the blessing celebrated". Do you know if there is an exact translation for that in Spanish??
