English term or phrase:become ever more
This is one of a list of aspirations in a prayer for the Catholic Church. The entire phrase is: May his witness to true holiness inspire us...to become ever more your Holy Church. Could it be "nos inspire a hacernos cada vez más tu Santa Iglesia"? It just doesn't sound right!
Explanation: En términos religiosos cuando dicen "ever more" se utiliza "eternamente" o "para siempre", "por siempre". Variantes: por la eternidad, por los siglos de los siglos.
Por lo demás "become" puede ser constituirnos, convertirnos en, ser, etc.
... a ser tu Santa Iglesia para siempre -
... a constituirnos/convertirnos eternamente en tu Santa Iglesia
