Pobrecita..parece que te toco uno de esos escritores que detestan la simplicidad y les encantan las palabrejas. Eso de negatively buoyant quiere decir que no flotan, por eso es que tocan el sedimento. Apuesto que tu escritor les llama a los embriones muertos, "negatively living".
