Explanation:
Mira, cuando en Cuba decimos "hierba" nos referimos a cualquier tipo de grass, pero generalmente es algo que no se cuida o poda con cuidado, como la que se siembra en los jardines con fines ornamentales. A esta última le llamamos "césped". Incluso, cuando entre el césped nace alguna planta no deseada, a esa le llamamos "hierba". Ya cuando nos referimos a las hierbas que crecen expontáneamente en los campos y que afectan negativamente a los cultivos, decimos "malas hierbas" (weeds). Nací y viví en ese país durante 50 años.
