The Bambino Buddy Ball Miracle League was established to allow players, ages 5-20+, who are either physically or intellectually challenged to participate in baseball.

The league allows a “buddy” to assist the player throughout the game (swing the bat, run the bases, field a ball, etc.)

Otros usan el anglicismo "fildear" una bola en alusión al FIELD, sector de un campo de beisbol donde los "jardineros" central, derecho o izquierdo suelen atrapar las bolas elevadas.

FIELD suele traducirse como JARDÍN.

Batear, pichear, fildear son términos derivados de palabras inglesas relacionadas con el "béis".
