(Firefighters trailer tanker)

One automatic battery charger shall be provided and air compressor combination. This system shall maintain both apparatus air pressure and system voltage. The battery system charger shall be installed in tha chassis cab. Remote voltage sensing shall be provided to compensate the charger output tot he voltage drop in the charging wires. The conditioner and compressor shall be wired to the AC input from the Auto-Eject. One Super Auto-Eject with weatherproof cover shall be provided in a location adjacent to the driver's side chassis door. When the engine is started a solenoid shall be energized which instantaneously drives the 110v plug from the receptacle. The springloaded weatherproof cover automatically shall close to prevent water from entering the receptacle when the SHORE LINE is removed.

I didn't notice the "Firefighters trailer tanker" header in my last response.

Actually, in the firefighting context, the "shore line" is exactly what leomar suggests: the hose linking the tanker to the fireplug (boca de incendios). I would prefer these translations; They are longer than "línea de suministros", but more specific.

Explanation:
He estado buscando y realmente no encuentro nada preciso. Solo se me ocurre por el contexto y poque una acepción de "to shore" es acodar/apuntalar, que pueda se la línea de conexión (del camión) a las mangueras contra incendio. Ojalá se pueda confirmar esto. Saludos y suerte.

Explanation:
The "shore line" is the electrical cable (or water tubes) connecting the vessel to the utilities available at the docking point. The term is also used for trucks or other vehicles, for instance, at gas stations. They provide the vehicle with energy or water supply when docked or parked.

Toma de agua


Explanation:
Me ha picado la curiosidad y he investigado un poco el tema. He encontrado una interesante página sobre procedimientos de bomberos, en la que encontrarás mucha información que puede resultarte útil.
Los bomberos utilizan los términos "toma de fuerza" y "toma de agua". Creo que la segunda es una buena traducción de "shore line".

Explanation:
Shore line means simply support line. Por lo tanto la traduction en espanol es " linea de soporte"
Para impedir la entrada de agua en el receptaculo despues de retirar la linea de soporte"
