If you are running for elective political office, anywhere, any party you are eligible for a free web site. The site restrictions are:

* No more than four pages.
* Each page no more than 25k without image and 45k with an image.
* Total site not to exceed 100k
* No more than one image per page
* I will not host, nor will I work on, sites that promote racism, sexism, violence, and/or contain personal attacks. Sites will be dropped immediately upon violation of any of the above rules. Sorry but that is the way it is.
* Your URL or Web address will be campaignfree.org/Last_Name_Location

FIRST A FEW FACTS

Yes the Web Page is free (hosting, designing, maintaining) and you will not be responsible for any costs. EXCEPT A PHOTO.

If you want a photo on your page, and I assume you will, you will have to get your local film developer to:

1/ Make a jpeg image(s) and put on a computer disc. This can be done from a photo. Make sure the image is no more than 20k
2/ Send the image attached to an email at [email protected]
4/ Check with your photo store maybe they can email the photo direct.

Of course, if you have a scanner, the photo will cost nothing!!!!

I will need the name address etc of your fiscal agent (should be on all
literature including web pages, I understand)


SOME THINGS TO THINK ABOUT.

I have a form available at http://www.rebook.com/candidates/form.shtml that will make it very easy to submit information.

Some of the text you may need

1/A bio including previous elective office and votes(?)
2/position papers
3/quotes from your local papers
4/why you should be elected
5/where to send donations
6/links you may want to add

Copy should be emailed, txt format.

And now to the question of how the various Election Watchdogs would
view a candidate accepting a service for nothing. I can put an arbitrary figure for a donation for the service. Again I do not want any money.

That is about it. DO NOT WAIT get a jump on the election and get a \'Net address to put on all your literature.

When you pages are up and running I will send a Press Release to your local media with the information if you send me an email list with the email address of the media outlets don\'t forget to include shoppers.

I have tried to keep this as simple as possible for you as I know that running for office is all consuming. Any suggestions for making things easier are welcome.
