Here is the definition: setback = An automatically timed setting of a thermostat to a lower temperature, as in the home at night.
I found several places where they just left it alone. i.e. On ref 1: "Capacidad de *setback* remoto desde un reloj o manejo central"
Here is a good explanation taken from the 2nd ref site: "When power is applied to the Setback Controller it generates a small amount of heat that tricks the thermostat into thinking it is warmer than it actually is. For example: if the thermostat is set at 70°, apply power to the Setback Controller to generate heat equal to a temperature difference of approximately 10°. The thermostat will only activate when the temperature drops below 60°. (Can also be set for a 5° or 15° setback.)"
