A ver...el Gold Master puede referirse a dos cosas, cero yo.

1. Un trofeo o premio que es entregado a los que ganan un concurso de juegos. Existen campeonatos de juegos por Internet o en red que al concluir, arrojan a un ganador/a.

2. El otro asunto es que al juego, mejor dicho el 'programa Beta' del juego, le den 'luz verde' y el nivel de 'Gold Master'. En castellano(español) se usa el término en inglés.

Dando vueltas al asunto podrías decir algo así: el \'Gold Master\' (Master) (maqueta) se le entrega al distribuidor...
En producción de TV se usa el término \'master\', además del cuarto de control/realización - switch room, para hablar de los vídeos (tapes) originales y \'en bruto\'. En música la maqueta......
