English term or phrase: [Charpy impact] notched/unnotched
I am translating the specifications of a product. One of them is the resistence to impact (measured in kJ/m2 and conforming to ISO 179/1eA). The text says:
"Charpy impact notched (+23ºC) 41 kJ/m2
notched (-20ºC) 5 kJ/m2"
In other occasions I have also seen the term "unnotched" (?). Please help. Thanks. Antonio
