English term or phrase: ceramic positive temperature controller
It's clear to use that this is a "termorregulador cerámico" or "regulador de temperatura cerámico". What eludes us is the meaning of "positive" in this context.

Spanish translation:"regulador cerámico de temperatura positiva"
Explanation:
Found this info on the net you might find helpful (link below):
"Temperatura positiva de +4º a + 10º con refrigeración ventilada o estática,..." So it seems that temperature can be controlled above 0 (+) or below (-). Better to place "cerámico" next to "regulador". hope it helps. Positive regards :)

Control cerámico de temperatura positiva

Explanation:
I like this better because a "regulador" would imply a scaling capability which is not present in the original phrase. "Control" sounds more generic, closer to the original.

But don't mind me, it's just an opinion

termorregulador cerámico con coeficiente de temperatura positivo

Explanation:
Hola Barbara
El "positive" es el coeficiente de resistencia del regulador, no la temperatura, mira por ejemplo:

Positive temperature coefficient (PTC) heating elements are small ceramic stones which offer self-limiting properties. this often allows for the elimination of thermostats, costly controls . . .and unwanted costs.
PTC units heat to temperature very quickly, then plateau, because the ceramic stone's resistance increases with temperature. The doped polycrystalline ceramics (based on barium titanate) utilize the semiconducting and ferro-electrical properties of the ceramic to produce self-limiting effects.

termorregulador positivo cerámico

Explanation:
"Positivo" is defining a feature of the temperature controller, not defining a quality of the "temperatura". Neither is the contrary of negative. In this case, the term positivo means "de acción directa". This meaning of "positivo" is used in many lab & chemistry applications, e.g.: positive-meter (contador positivo), positive allowance (holgura positiva) or positive-displacement pump (bomba de desplazamiento positivo).

I would translate it as:

"termorregulador positivo cerámico" or "regulador positivo de temperatura cerámico"

I hope it helps.
