See below Explanation: Ibac, I would use the literal translation Tambor de Recontacto. It could be also be called Reflux Drum. The name recontact refers to the liquid in the drum, that is, a liquid which will de mixed/contacted again with the LPG: It will be refluxed. I imagine that it is a Recovery Column, and the liquid that is refluxed (probably at the top of the column)is used to absorb the other components which are required to be separated from the LPG (most probably light nafta components: pentanes & hexanes). But, since they used Recontact Drum, go ahead and use the literal translation. Hope it helps and it does not make it more confusing. |
