I am translating a document about telephony. and they say that it is possible to restrict calls to 1-900 telephone numbers. I would like to know if it is a specific type of number (very expensive to call, for example) in order to find an equivalent in Spanish. Thanks.

It must be different for every country. In Spain it's "llamadas a 906", but you need to know what country your translation is for. If you can't find out, I suggest you to substitute the number with an explanation of the concept.

I forgot telling that 1-900 numbers are the ones used in the USA for erotic lines, psychics or similar. Only for +18 and very expensive.
