Lo que dices, Hans, es correcto (como de costumbre).
Pero en mi respuesta hay dos deducciones implícitas:

1. Si al chip se le denomina \'de RF\', es difícil que esté compuesto sólo por componentes pasivos. Debe incluir por lo menos un componente activo (es decir, un transistor, esté integrado o no).

2. Si además -como parece- se trata del único \'chip de RF\' que hay, podemos pensar que contiene algo más que un transistor de potencia, es decir algunos componentes -pasivos y/o activos- más.

Todo esto -repito, es sólo deducción- se resumió en la respuesta: \'circuito integrado\'.

Explanation:
Esto es para justificar mis agrees y disagrees. También se habla de resistencias, condensadores, inductancias y transistores en chip. El RF chip puede ser también un transistor de potencia, por ejemplo.

Tratándose de un manual técnico, no es necesario aclarar que RF es radiofrecuencia. De otra forma lo tendrías que poner en nota aparte.

El término más utilizado por los ingenieros es \"blindaje de RF\", en vez de \"protección\".
