Inrush is the current peak that occurs when starting an electromechanic device("Einschaltstrom" in german, if that's any help). It's conceptually different from 'surge' (sobrecarga)

You may find " corriente inrush" as such, but mainly in L. Am. For Spain, as I guess is your case, "arranque" would be more appropiate.
