1. Conductors of control circuits are protected by the motor branch-circuit short-circuit.. where the opening of the control circuit would create a hazard, as for example, the control circuit of a magnetic chuck and the like.

-Conductors of control circuits are protected by the motor branch-circuit short-circuit.. where the opening of the control circuit would create a hazard, as for example, the control circuit of a magnetic chuck and the like-.
'Los [cables] conductores de los circuitos de control están protegidos contra corto-circuitos por el ramal del circuito del del motor...donde la apertura del circuito de control crearía un peligro, como por ejemplo, el circuito de una mordaza magnética y afines.'
'Chuck*': "A clamp that holds a tool or the material being worked in a machine such as a lathe" [In this case is a magnetic chuck, a chuck that holds the work to be machined via an electromagnet].
Very familiar term to machine-shop operators.
*Also known in some Latin America countries as 'Mandril'.
