'fabricación sub-contratada (toll)...'
Explanation:
Under toll manufacturing toll processing there were far mOre hits. My guess was right (see below) except that payment is a fee per quantity not product. Essentially it's 'subcontracted manufacture' of a highly technical nature. To translate this maybe 'fabricación sub-contratada (toll)...' as it's peculiar to chemicals/chemical-related industries.

What is “Toll Processing?“
Toll processing can be defined as performing a service on a customer’s product for a fee. In other words, for example say customer X would like to blend product A with product B at a 5% level by weight. He does not have the proper equipment to perform this function. He then sends product A and product B in separate containers to a toll processor. The materials are blended producing product C, placed in a new container, and sent back to customer X. Customer X pays a service fee to the toll processor usually in terms of ****$/lb. of material processed.

Thank you, you're quite a precise professional! I didn't want to give out too much info because as you rightly pointed out, this term 'it's peculiar to chemicals/chemical-related industries' so either you knew it or you didn't. The translation I'm doing has to do with pesticides.

producción a cambio de producto/pago en especie?

Explanation:
http://www.google.com/search?q=toll-productions &hl=es&safe=...

In the above page there were only 2 relevant refs to toll+production, and neither provided sufficient context.

One of the dic defs of toll is, apart from 'peaje', 'a portion of grain etc kept by a miller/producer in payment for grinding/production.'

So perhaps your company produces (drugs?) but keeps some product as payment?

Maybe 'producción a cambio de producto/pago en especie' or similar?

That's just an informed guess, which you should check against your context. If I find anything else I'll be back.
