¿Estás seguro de que es Word order y no Work order?. ¿No será una errata?

En el Diccionario del DoD (Department od Defence) de las EEUU se encuentra "Work order" como

work order
(DOD) A specific or blanket authorization to perform certain work--usually broader in scope than a job order. It is sometimes used synonymously with job order.


En este sentido "Military Work Order" es una "Orden de Trabajo Militar".

No he podido dar con la expresion original inglesa, sin embargo, esta interpretacion me parece la mas acertada, pues en muchos contextos "word" y "order" son sinonimos, sobre todo en el militar.
