Señal de sincronización

Explanation:
Es lo que corresponde con la señal de sincroniación de la crominancia. Ver la exoplicación en francés tomada del Grand Dictionaire

Burst signal= signal de synchronisation n. m.

Note :
(pour la synchronisation de l'oscillateur de chrominance).

Déf. :
Also called the color sync signal, the color burst consists of 8 to 12 cycles of the chrominance subcarrier (3.579545 MHz) added at the end of the horizontal sync signal of the TV signal. This burst signal is exactly the in-phase and same frequency as the chrominance subcarrier being transmitted and it becomes the reference for phase comparison during reception (amplitude for chroma, phase for hue determination) in generating the continuous carrier necessary at the time of deriving the color signal.

Contexte :
Burst amplifier circuit to separate 3.58-Mhz burst signal.

Note :
Approximately nine cycles of the chrominance subcarrier added to the back porch of the horizontal blanking pedestal of the composite color signal and used in the color receiver as a phase reference for the 3,579545-MHz oscillator.
