See below Explanation: The following URL is about thermodes. I quote from it just below. Sorry I don't have a translation. "Termodo" exists, but it is used in the medical field, not in welding, so I suspect the name is different. http://www.google.com/search?q=cache:www.micro-joining.com/t... "Thermodes are used by manufacturers in reflow soldering operations where single point and/or mass termination assembly is required for: flex cable, ribbon cable, micro coax cable and discreet components. Thermodes are also used in thermocompression bonding." |

thermode or termodo Explanation: Thermode: A set of blades or bars that are pulse-heated. A thermode is used to hold component leads in place and reflow solder them to bonding pads on a substrate during hot bar reflow soldering. (http://www.ensil.com/glossary.htm#t) http://www.micro-joining.com/thermoderepair.html http://www.uclm.es/inabis2000/symposia/files/178/session.htm I've found the term "thermode" in French, German, Dutch and Danish text, so it might be also thermode in Spanish?
