English term or phrase: multiple-part hole cutter
Como en la pregunta anterior, se trata de un taladro eléctrico y necesito la terminología de México. El contexto es el siguiente:

EXTENSION CORD USE

ß Make sure there are no nails or foreign objects in the part of the workpiece to be drilled.

ß Before starting the operation, jog the drill switch to make sure the drill bit does not wobble or vibrate.

ß Do not use fly cutters or multiple-part hole cutters, as they can come apart or become unbalanced in use.

ß Make sure the spindle has come to a complete stop before touching the chuck or attempting to change the drill bit.

Gracias.

Spanish translation:corona perforadora de múltiples piezas
Explanation:
Hi Mauricio,

The above may be an equivalent to the English expression. I'm not 100% sure; however, the references may help you even if the term is not exactly right. I have no idea whether this term is OK for Mexico or not, either, as the Spanish page is from Spain. So, for what it's worth....

http://www.laner.com/cgi-bin/wwiz.asp?wwizmstr=MVES.SEARCH&p... - This page shows you some hole cutter kits. You can click on any of the pictures to see a bigger picture.

http://www.bricomundo.com/dossier-brocas-p.htm - On this page ("Todo sobre las brocas"), you can see similar attachments for the drill, especially nos. 14 and 16. The name they give these is "corona perforadora", i.e.,

These are "de dos piezas", so I suppose you could use "de múltiples piezas" as the equivalent of "multiple-part."

Hope it helps.
Cindy

Explanation:
I think this would cover most cases...

Cindy's input is very good but there are more multi-part cutters than just the crown types.

suerte...
