Dany, I wouldn´t go for ofertas. Propuestas sounds less gambling-like than apuestas, and it would depend on the kind of entries.

I would even think of "moción", if it is referring to different opinions.

I don't think your context is about a race, rather about placing bets. So I would go for "apuestas" (I'm not sure what the "polla" is).
