Explanation:
is this something to do with motorbikes or BMX?

A wheelie is when you lift the front wheel off the ground (whilst riding the bike), so you move along on just one wheel (the back wheel).

I don't know the spanish term, I'm afraid, but hopefully you'll know what I'm referring to.
