"estado de los conocimientos" but I've heard this term used also as meaning: con todas las tecnologias o artes mas avanzadas de la industria, es decir que cuentan con todos los recursos para llevar a cabo un determinado proyecto. Aha! Javier Collazo lo traduce asi: "segun el estado actual de la tecnologia; segun tecnicas con0ocidas; de avanzadisima tecnologia."
