English term or phrase: FLYING LEADS
Hi, does anyone know what flying leads are? Here´s some context:

Flying leads between umbilical termination assemblies (UTA) on end of umbilical to each tree mounted subsea control module.

ROV installed flying leads between the umbilical termination assemblies (UTA) and the tree mounted Subsea Control Modules (SCMs) will provide the electrical power/communications, hydraulic supply, chemical supply and annulus access to each tree mounted SCM.

Flying leads between the production tree(s) and production manifold will provide the requirements for control and monitoring of the production manifold (e.g. valves for pigging, chemical injection, pig sensors, etc.)

By the way, for pigging, I´m using "limpieza con taco raspatubos", for pig sensors, "sensores de tacos raspatubos", etc. Any better ideas?

Thanks so much,

ERC

¡Hola!

Thanks a million,
