High Head Pressure.

This is what it means: High Head Pressure is a term related to pressure on the "high" side of
the refrigeration system that are above the accepted pressure that should be
found at
a specific temperature. For instance, refrigerant R-12 in an air conditioner
should operate with a normal head pressure of about 165-175 psig (pounds per
square inch gauge) a head pressure indicating 200 and above would be a"high
head pressure" and a cause for coorection. The compressor pumps refrigerant low
pressure vapor from the cooling coil (evaporator) and compresses it to a higher
pressure in the cooling process. The pressure after the compression is called
head pressure. Before the compression, the refrigerant is called "low side"
pressure.

Hola Hardy
no se me ocurre otra cosa. A primera vista parecía "cabezal de alta presión" pero no tiene sentido en el contexto. A menos que el compresor tenga un pistón que comprima hasta una cierta presión y luego el gas pase a otro que lo comprioma más aún. Respecto al texto es tal como funciona un equiupo refirgerador, co,mprime el gas, luego se lo expande, toma calor del medio donde está el srpentín y baja la prsión.
Bueno no sigo escrobiendo pues mi gato está en mi ragazo y mete una de sus patas en el teclado y mwe tiene harto.
