paredes de seguridad Explanation: Lo único que encuentro para break-away (en el Eurodicautom y otros diccionarios) es "de seguridad", aunque la verdad es que el término resulta muy expresivo en inglés teniendo en cuenta cómo se comportan esas paredes en caso de inundación. Quizá haya un término más adecuado en español (pero yo no lo encuentro). Un saludo :-) |

paredes frangibles Explanation: I haven’t found this exact term by cross-checking in Google, but I think it will work as a description if no one comes up with the exact expression. Breakaway walls or frangible walls means a partition independent of supporting structural members that will withstand design wind forces, but will fail under hydrostatic wave, and range forces associated with the design storm surge. Under such conditions, the wall will fail in a manner such that it dissolves or breaks up into components that will not act as potentially damaging missiles.
