English term or phrase: break-away walls

paredes frangibles
Explanation:

I haven’t found this exact term by cross-checking in Google, but I think it will work as a description if no one comes up with the exact expression.

Breakaway walls or frangible walls means a partition independent of supporting structural members that will withstand design wind forces, but will fail under hydrostatic wave, and range forces associated with the design storm surge. Under such conditions, the wall will fail in a manner such that it dissolves or breaks up into components that will not act as potentially damaging missiles. (http://www.co.hernando.fl.us/bocc/bccord/1999ord/99-26 ord.h...

Objeto frangible. (http://sartel.infra.upm.es/aeropuertos/lexico.html)

D.R.A.E. frangible - 1. adj. Capaz de quebrarse o partirse

Hope it helps.

paredes de seguridad

Explanation:
