Explanation:
"Dram" significa literalmente una cantidad, oficialmente unos 43 cl, aunque en la práctica varía mucho. Es una copita, o un trago, o lo que llamaríamos en España un chupito. Pero se emplea también, en la jerga de los aficionados, como sinónimo de un tipo o marca de whisky. Por ejemplo, se puede decir que un whisky determinado es "a nice dram", que quiere decir simplemente que es un buen whisky, un whisky agradable:

"This release is a blend of eight peated and unpeated whiskies from Islay, the Islands, and Speyside. It’s rich and smoky, of course, but it’s also a nice dram for those who aren’t quite ready to have their taste buds blasted out."

En estos casos, "dram" no tiene nada que ver con la cantidad; es sinónimo de "whisky": cuando se dice que Glen Moray es "a nice dram" es otra forma de decir "a nice whisky".

En tu texto, "dram" se utiliza de esta manera. Así que yo pondría, por ejemplo: "un whisky que no tiene nada que envidiar a otros el doble de viejos/añejos".

Por cierto, según la Academia "whisky" debe ir en cursiva. Menos mal que ya no insisten en escribir "güisqui".
