neutral  Thomas Johansson: Tror inte att källtexten är skriven av en person med engelska som modersmål. Låter konstig i största allmänhet. Tror "called" bara markerar att man här definierar vad "steady state" betyder i texten som följer.

  -> Ja den är konstig precis som påpekat. Jag brukar utgå från det som faktiskt står i möjligaste mån - är det dåligt skrivet, blir givetvis översatt text därefter.

In KTH, we used "stadig"

and we are not the only ones: in ref1:
(negative unsteady) firmly fixed, balanced or controlled The table isn't steady; You need a steady hand to be a surgeon. -> stadig
