We do dear, we do! I admit that it may seem confusing to an English speaker, but ....

"teaching" should be translated as "undervisa" (which is x-tal clear) OR as "lära ut" ("ut" stands for an outward flow of the knowledge).

"learning" should be translated as "lära sig" (NOTE: "lära sig" is NOT the same as "teach oneself", a very common mistranslation!). The "sig" may be omitted when there is NO RISK of reading it as teaching.
