English to Swedish translations [Non-PRO]
English term or phrase:civil day/month/year
In html text on different holidays. Earlier in the text they were talk ing about the Gregorian calender specifically, but what do they mean by "You must specify the civil day(alt. month/year)"
Explanation: I would guess that the language used is not entirely correct. Civil day, in the context of holidays, is probably referring to public holidays (allmän helgdag) or what in Sweden often is called "röda dagar" (red days), as they are marked red in a Swedish calendar. In the UK the equivalent would be bank holidays - no work.
