It has to do with webhosting etc.

This term originates in Macro-Economic theory, monetisation here means "..central bank creates money." This translates to "Monetarisering" in Swedish.

Ref: Dornbush & Fischer, Macroeconomics, McGraw&Hill.

Obviously this does not fit here. I found a definiton from a similar? company stating that:

"In short, we will see the "monetisation of content". That is, the creation, packaging, purchasing and delivery of content, anytime and anywhere, over the broadband and mobile Internet."

To cover all these variables, it seems to me that a somewhat broad translation is required. Maybe [Kommersiell introduktion] can achieve this.
