English to Tagalog translations [PRO]
English term or phrase:Princess
I need to find a way to say princess other then the english form "princess" please help!!
you may use the hispanized form "prinsesa" or the form
Explanation: used by Southern muslim royalty "baí" (pronounced ba-yí, accent on the second syllable). The first one is used in fairy tales, but with the exception of the Muslim royal houses, there is no such social station in the present day.
NB: Baí in the north applies to the old water goddesses.

Explanation: Translated in English as "Your Highness, beloved princess." We don't simply say `prinsesa' when addressing a royalty. `Prinsesa'is just a normal noun for princess and not used to address a person.
