But if you really want to surprise your girlfriend with the right Tagalog expression, try NANABIK NA AKO SA 'YO or SABIK NA SABIK NA AKONG MAKITA KA. The Tagalog term SABIK has a much deeper meaning than to miss someone. There is also longing and a sense of incompleteness because the "other" half or partner is not around.
