Estonian term or phrase: Eesti keel on kelligil nagu sama olid raski oppida.
This is part of the text I submitted as the "context" before. It was called "a letter of introduction" by the writer. I do not know any of the words and I hope my translation from handwriting is well enough to translate the language. Thank you if you can do it.

English translation:Estonian is for someone as difficult to learn
Explanation:
The meaning is there, even though apparently you had a hard time understanding the handwriting. The phrase is not in correct Estonian, written by a non-native?

The person is a former native--lives here now. Thank you very much for your kind help. Maybe this is what it is supposed to say.
