Finnish term or phrase: organisaatiota madallettiin
From a company's financial report:

"Lisäksi päättyneellä tilikaudella konsernissa jatkettiin jo aiemmin alkanutta projektia, joka tähtää toimintojen ja prosessien tehostamiseen. Mittavat tehostamistoimet aloitettiin syksyllä 2013 ja niiden tuloksena emoyhtiön organisaatiota madallettiin sekä toimintoja yhdistettiin."

I'm not quite getting the meaning of "organisaatiota madallettiin". Does this mean that the organizational structures in the company were simplified to some extent?
