This is obviously a stock phrase, I'm just not sure the best was of putting 'de betekening doende'.

Hi, I would like more explanations! I'll try to give some meaning, though.
'Betekening' means 'service, legal notice' in law terminology.
Therefore the phrase could mean something like 'the legal notice (active) as described below'.
