I am currently translating a document outlining several urban regeneration projects in Antwerp, and am having problems with the above phrase.
The sentence is as follows:
"Toen halfweg de vorige eeuw de Permekegroep het Ford hoofdverdelerschap voor Groot-Antwerpen kreeg, was de zetel aan de Conincplein gekend omwille van zijn klasse".
