I have a series of hard-to-identify component terms in a document about aerospace fasteners. This is mentioned in the same sentence as pieces manufactured by the same company for a new aircraft, which also include: verrous à crochet, verrous de cisaillement and verrous de trappe.

I suspect this may be some sort of safety device like a shear pin which protects some system or other from excessive pressure, eg hydraulic.
