special paste for non-woven wallpapers Explanation: I'm not quite sure WHY it's a special paste, but as far as I'm aware, it is indeed intended for non-woven wallcoverings; of course, most wallpaper is 'non-woven' (!), but I've mainly come across this term in connection with the various types of non-paper wallcoverings, like glass-fibre and sheet polystyrene, for example. Maybe it means a kind of glue that is easy to slide the paper on, which would be pretty vital for an 'ordinary' paper that might tear. I seem vaguely to recall that in the UK some pastes used to claim to make for 'easy positioning', though I can't recall the exact term they used... |
