French term or phrase: reconstitutionniste
The following comes from Canadian French and deals with a supposedly expert car accident surveyor: "Reconstitutionniste en scene de collision". I would appreciate if the whole latter sentence is translated, thanks a lot.

Though I think we'd word that ratehr differently in normal EN! Depends on the wider context in which it appears. I guess it means someone who specializes in / is good at reconstructing what happened in an accident...

I somehow think in EN we'd probably refer to this as 'accident reconstruction' — might be worth checking out?

Saw a lovely EU 'Accident Report' form the other day, illustrating how a car had run into a jet aircraft inconsiderately parked across the roadway!
