French term

peaux maintenues en survie

French to English Science Biology (-tech,-chem,micro-)
From a text about skin research: "tissulaires 3D comme les épidermes (ou gencives) reconstruits, les dermes équivalents ou les peaux maintenues en survie." I'm presuming it is skin that is artifically kept alive, i.e. not on someone's body, but I can't find the scientific expression in English.

agree philgoddard : There may be a more technical term for it, but this gets plenty of Google hits in the context of skin.
