p = points? Explanation: It could well be points (remember that sometimes the stockexchange does not give figures in money but in points (each point has a value). It could mean 420 points (or cents) per share. It could help knowing the number of shares involved. Mds = I also think of milliards (but in France remember it means thousands of millions) |

Share prices are often quoted in 3-digit penace amounts as e.g. 420 pence rather than £4.20. |
