In the "désignation" column of a French payslip:
"PR. IMPAT. ESPECE NI"
Then next entry is "PR. IMPAT. NATURE NI"
I assume "espèce" should be "in cash" and "nature" should be "in kind", but I don't know how to translate "PR. IMPAT. ... NI". Is "PR." short for "prime"? What are "impat." and "NI" short for?

I have seen both impatriation and inpatriation in English. Neither of them is in my Complete and Unabridged Collins Dictionary; however, it is a 2004 reprint of the 2003 edition. Googling gives a similar number of UK hits for each spelling, if you exclude the duplicate entries by "emerald insight", but a total web search for "impatriation" "human resources" -emeraldinsight gets 2,850 hits, while the same but with "inpatriation" gets 999.

I have, since posting the above, discovered that excluding any French Google hits by controlling for common French words gives a clear preference for the inpatriationL spelling.

| Both addresses on the payslip (for the company and the employee) are in Paris. However, at the bottom there is a stamp that says "Zone Afrique / Moyen-Orient" so Nigeria/Niger ispossible I guess. I'll leave it as "NI" which works in English too |
