Taken from the article of a framework agreement relating to Total Annual Discount:

Une Remise Annuelle Globale (RAG) sera appliquée en complément, sur chaque commande d’Equipements du CLIENT concernant les fournitures objets du présent accord cadre. Le niveau de remise applicable pour l’année N sera communiqué chaque année au plus tard le 31 Janvier de l’année N. Cette Remise Annuelle Globale est appliquée exclusivement en bas de page de chaque offre de vente sur le prix de vente des équipements.

The glossary I have been provided gives "This discount is applied at the bottom of each page", but that to me makes no sense. Could it perhaps mean that the discount is applied to the total figure on the invoice, as opposed to individual items, or perhaps after all other discounts/surcharges have been applied?

It also gives a somewhat unintelligible example (where 37% is the standard discount applied to this client on the provider's public prices):

Par exemple, pour un projet de trois cent (300) k€ après remise en 2011, le prix de vente est calculé comme suit: Prix Publics – trente sept pour cent (37%) – cinq pour cent (5%) soit Prix public – quarante et quinze pour cent (40,15%).
