French term or phrase: coupure d'artère
I know that there is a previous KudoZ question on this, but I do not think that the answer given is reliable and strongly suspect that both answers suggested were wrong.

Reference: looped ?

Reference information:
Why does "looped" appear wrong? (This is admittedly not one of my fields, so perhaps I should stay out of it.)

Asker: "Looped" was not the answer that appeared to be wrong. I had located a different previous KudoZ question and not this one. In fact, had I discovered that previous question with "looped" as the answer, I would not have posted this one.

agree  Tony M: Yes, this makes perfect technical sense to me, and the IEC reference offered previously ought to be authoritative enough!

Reference: Raccordement en coupure d’artère

Reference information:

I'm a little puzzled, Asker, as you mention "both asnwers suggested were wrong", but on tis particualr question, there appears to be only one answer? Perhaps there is another question I didn't find?

Asker: I am puzzled too, because that is a different KudoZ question and answer from the one I found!
