French term or phrase: boisseau de cheminées en maçonnerie
From a valuation for a Swiss chalet. This is an item in one of the bedrooms. Have looked on line for some inspiration but have so far found nothing. A stonework chimney hood is my best guess.
Thanks for any help.

Brick chimney

Explanation:
I suspect it might be a chimney made from clay bricks.

Example sentence(s):
  • "There is yet another type, the clay brick. This variety is used to make masonry chimneys that are built along with the construction of homes. Usually these are red in color but sometimes they may be painted otherwise."

neutral  Tony M: I believe it is dangerous over-translation to simply assume that 'maçonnerie' = 'brick' — in addition, note that the FR could equally easily have said 'en briques' if that had been what was intended.
