Decochoc | Wall Protection Panels - Gerflor

Total protection fitting all areas by providing impact resistance, high level of hygiene and a decorative touch. ... Welded joints possible for perfect watertightness between panels or with vinyl flooring. ... SPM Wall protections & handrails - 2019 catalog.

The only thing i'm not sure about is if you actually need the '-type' or not — it is so often used in FR even when not required in EN — but in the context of building specifications and the like, even in EN we often tend to be non-committal and use '-type', or in some cases '...or equivalent'; so I don't think it will do any harm to keep it here, unless they really are specifying the exact product.

  -> Thanks, Yolanda!

agree  B D Finch: Though I wouldn't use inverted commas. "Type" is essential, as it is likely to be contractually advisable for the client not to impose a specific brand.

  -> Thanks, B! I think inverted commas are useful when referring to proprietary brands; ans yes, that's the exact point I raised in the latter part of my suggestion.

agree  philgoddard: Yes, no inverted commas.

  -> Thanks, Phil! Please see my response to BDF above.

agree  chris collister: Given that "Decochoc"might be unknown outside France, you could saysomething like 'impact and water resistant skirting and flooring products'. Similar reasoning would apply e.g. to "Sandow", etc.

  -> Thanks, Chris! Indeed, though it does seem to be an international product.
