French term or phrase: amorçage
I am translating the instructions for testing a cosmetic brush pen in a laboratory, and am struggling to understand the sense of "amorçage" in this list of parameters to be observed:

- La couleur
- L'odeur
- L'aspect des packs
- La viscosité
- Le pH
- *Amorçage* des packs et mesure du nombre d'amorçage

Later on in the document, it states, "*Amorçage* : Un pack sera amorcé à chaque échéance. Noter la difficulté à amorcer et/ou le nombre d’amorce". There is no other mention of it in the document.

After researching the word "amorçage", I am not sure how any of the meanings I've seen (priming, initiating, baiting and various electrical terms) apply in this context, especially in light of "mesure du nombre d'amorçage". Any help would be appreciated!

The term in question could be referring to the level of accessibility of the packaging. In other words, the mesure du nombre d'amorcage would be the total number of steps needed to remove the product from its packaging.
